Cursor's co-founder says only 5% of its traffic runs on OpenAI models anyway.
The twist
Anthropic is courting Cursor as 'the reliable partner' in the same news cycle, while having pulled Claude from Windsurf and cut OpenAI's own API access over benchmarking last year.
